Kids Egg Carton Crafts
Egg cartons are a fun way for kids to create just about anything and they are always lying around from the supermarket.
Make sure that the egg cartons that you use are clean and free from any left over egg. If you are able to locate them, unused egg cartons 
are the best choice when making crafts.
If your child is allergic to eggs, I suggest that you do not make crafts using egg cartons.
Make Your Own Train From an Egg Carton
Here's a train that you can make very easily using an egg carton and a few other items.
It's easy to make, requiring few items. Here's what you will need and the instructions.
What you will need
- 1 half dozen egg carton.
- Paint - I suggest blue for the locomotive/carriage and black for the wheels.
- Scissors.
- 12 x black card or white card painted black for the wheels.
- Craft glue.
- Optional - string to attach the locomotive to the carriage for the train (I used glue).
How to make it
- Cut two segment sections for the locomotive and carriage as shown.
- Paint the egg cups blue and leave them to dry.
- Cut 8 wheel shapes from the card and stick to the segments as shown using the glue.
- Cut a rectangle in one of the segments for a window as shown in the photograph.
- Glue the carriage to the locomotive using the glue and you're done.
