Make a Mouse Using a Wooden Spoon

Here’s a mouse that you can make very easily using a wooden spoon. This is a fun exercise for your kids to do and it’s easy to make, requiring few items.

Here’s what you will need and how to make it.

  • One wooden spoon.
  • Non-toxic glue or cellotape.
  • Grey paint.
  • Black felt pen for the whiskers.
  • Small sized plastic eyes.
  • Pink paper for ears.
  • Grey or white pipe cleaner (chenile stick) for tail.
  • Paint the front and rear of the spoon with the grey paint and leave to dry. If necessary, depending on the thickness of the paint, apply a second coat.
  • Cut the pink paper to make the two ears.
  • Stick the ears to the back of the spoon using the cellotape or glue.
  • Draw in the face, stick on the eyes and add the whiskers, using the black felt pen.
  • Stick the pipe cleaner on the base of the spoon with glue or cellotape.
